The role:
My client is looking for a Linux and Storage Engineer with DevOps experience to join their team.
Responsibilities:
• Manage huge petabyte scale storage systems
• Managing the Linux estate
• Troubleshooting hardware and software across the platform
• Scripting to automate tasks
• Working across common DevOps technologies (IaC, Configuration Management, Containers, Cloud, Python etc.)
Skills required:
• 5 years of Linux Systems Engineering experience
• Some experience working in Python, Ruby or Bash scripting
• Degree in a relevant area
• Broad Linux and DevOps related experience
Desirable skills:
• Agile
• Chef, Puppet or Ansible
• Any experience with GPFS, NFS etc.
• ELK
• Prometheus / Grafana
